A challenge :-}

Challenge: try to wear only four shoes  this month.

Why: The more you buy something the more the company makes. For example, I go to a market and buy those disposable cameras because they are cheap and fun but the shop doesn't even have much of it. Since I have lots of friends who are going on a trip, I buy lots of cameras. The next time I go to the market, instead of ordering what they once had, they made more.Check out this video to learn more.

After you see this video think about this, think about were your stuff is made; for example your phones, shoes, and computers they were all made in factories. Then think about how does the factory get electricity and how does that affect climate.

If you liked the video above you'll like these videos.

Pyramid go BYE BYE!!!!!!!!!!!

  These pyramids here have survived the sun,wind and sandstorms for over 4,000 years. However, air pollution in the past 50 years have been demolishing these magnificent structures this is because of acid rain which destroys everything. The only thing that can prevent this from hapening is really expensive acid-resistant spray which is used in painting cars but every stone structure and statue will go away.

Heat-island affect

Do you know how a city like the above can be way hotter than cities in the rural areas? It's  because these cities contain asphalt and concrete which are used in making streets, sidewalks, buildings, parking lots,... etc. All this heats up which then heats the air around it. As for rural areas because of the plants they stay cooler because plants contain water and water heats up slower then it cools down.

Earth's Atmosphere

    Earth's atmosphere is a thin layer of air around the Earth. Without the atmosphere it would be too hot in the day and too cold at night. Earth's atmosphere balances the heat and it protects us from sun rays.
       The atmosphere has a mixture of gases, liquids and solids like nitrogen, water vapor, and dust.
